“As your State Senator, I’m dedicated to serving you throughout the year. I believe that providing services to District 7 residents and small businesses, which includes Harford and Baltimore counties, is of the most utmost importance. Moreover, my team is committed to ensuring that the resources, expertise, and services available across state government are easily accessible.” -Senator J.B. Jennings in a note to constituents

While we cannot compel a state agency to make specific decisions, we work hard to make sure your inquiry is understood, that you receive a timely and fair response and that agencies take appropriate action to address your concerns.
Legislative Paid Internships: For recent high school graduates and college students we offer internships during the 90-day legislative session each year (January – April). Applicants must commit to a set number of hours per week.
Legislative Page Program: High school seniors have the unique opportunity to participate in the Maryland General Assembly through the Senate Page program, where they can engage with state leaders and learn firsthand about the legislative process.
Legislative Scholarships: If you are a resident of District 7 and pursing a post-secondary degree or trade certification at an in-state institution, you may be eligible for a Senatorial Scholarship.
